The idea behind the project is to experiment with scraps and left over materials, in order to generate a module that, in its turn, is to be used to create a more complex 3D structure.
The system of construction is based on, as the title states, partially rotating and revolving the module so to reach another interlaced form, that might be implemented in Interior designing.

Arabesquish

These form elaborations are the next phase of the miniature model (left) achieved through rotating flipping and duplicating.
This study is to experiment the diversity of arabesque application through designs.

Visualizing simple 3D

In such forms one can draw imaginary lines to define a geometrical shape or to highlight selective areas.
Whether to connect two points or trace a surface, these lines are infinite and can be simple or complex.

Visualizing complex 3D

At this point things were easy. Adding shades and shadows along with the imaginary lines will provide a different perspective, it gives depth and altitude to what started as a 2D composition.

My future phase would be to implement the design in an interior, an office or a pub, to divide the space following my study, that way i would have applied a different system for exploring an area.

you are reminding me of mc escher.
hehe. keep up the good work.
it looks like it is going somewhere.
The idea of using leftovers in also a good environmental issue.
